Anna Heche and Anne Lockhart
Anne Celeste Heche (born in 1939) was an American Actress who played a range of characters in films, TV and the theater. Her achievements include the Daytime Emmy Award, a National Board of Review Award, and many others. Anne Celeste Heche (19 May 1969 - August 11 2022) was an American actress. First gaining recognition as Vicky Hudson, and Marley Love of the soap opera Another World (from 1987-1991), she won the two Soap Opera Digest Awards. Later in the 90s, she gained more attention with her role in the film Donnie Brasco, a crime drama. Anne Lockhart (born Anne Kathleen Maloney on September 6, 1953) is an American actress from the United States. She is most well-known for playing Lieutenant Sheba in her role in the Battlestar Galactica television series (1978-1979). Lockhart is the daughter of actress June Lockhart and granddaughter of actor Gene Lockhart. Lockhart was very young when her career began. Her first appearance came in the age of four when she starred in T is for Tumbleweed. The short film about a subject was considered for nomination to an Oscar award. The actress accompanied her mother on the set where she would learn about the inner workings of the industry. Lockhart appeared in many episodes of Lassie. Dora in Jory was her first film in 1972. She turned 18 years old when she played her character as the daughter of Joan Crawford on The Sixth Sense. Joan Crawford's last role as an actor. There is widespread belief that Anne turned down the part of Laurie Strode for John Carpenter's Halloween, a film from 1978. Jaime Lee Curtis was given the part. Carpenter says he had her in mind to play the part however she decided to decline the offer. Anne does not remember being being contacted with the name of John Carpenter nor being offered the job. It's possible that her agent rejected the offer on her behalf, without notifying the actress. Glen Larson initially selected her to play the character of Battlestar Galactica in 1978. He sent a rough script. The character wasn't strong enough to warrant her acceptance of the part. Glen came up with a completely new character to play for her featuring Sheba as a more powerful character. The Living Legend was accepted following her reading of the original 25-page script. The show lasted only one episode. Co-starring in Joyride alongside Desi Arnaz Jr., Melanie Griffith (the daughter of Desi Arnaz Jr. and Lucille Bell), Robert Carradine and Melanie Griffith in 1977 and in The Dark Tower with Michael Moriarty (1987).
